We would like to invite you to a presentation organised as part of the seminar series 'Legal History Meets Digital Humanities' at the Max Planck Institute for Legal History and Legal Theory, that will take place in a hybrid format on 16 May 2024 from 15:00 to 17:00.

Modelling Social and Legal Facts in the Context of the Semantic Data for Humanities and Social Sciences Ontology Ecosystem

In this session we will discuss the topic of possible applications of knowledge graphs and Linked Open Data (LOD) in research in the humanities and social sciences. Our speaker Dr habil. Francesco Beretta (CNRS/ University of Lyon) will talk about the potential of these semantic technologies for sharing large amounts of scientific data and fostering interdisciplinary innovation.
The language of the lecture will be English.
