Die VW-Stiftung foerdert seit September dieses Jahres aus Mitteln des Schwerpunktes "Globale Strukturen und deren Steuerung" das Forschungsprojekt "Krieg, Frieden und Weltordnungen. Kollektive Identitaeten und Wertsysteme vom Altertum bis ins 21. Jahrhundert", das von Prof.Dr. Heinz Duchhardt und Dr. Anja Victorine Hartmann (Institut fuer Europaeische Geschichte Mainz) in Kooperation mit Dr. habil. Beatrice Heuser (King's College London) geleitet wird. Im Rahmen dieses Projektes findet vom 17. bis 19. Dezember 1998 in Rothenburg o.T. ein erster Workshop statt, dessen Programm Sie im folgenden finden.
