From its very beginning in June of 2012, the University Journal of Military History (RUHM) came into being with the conviction that military history should make itself interesting and valuable for our historiographical community. The team driving this project has always believed that war studies, understood as paradigm and object of study, can foster by themselves important advances in methodological matters with a huge significance over the whole historiography, from the study of the Antiquity to the present, providing us with essential tools to analyse historical phenomena and processes of all kinds. It is not for nothing that our main goal is to turn this project into a historiographical reference in order to bring together all the scholars concerned about any aspect related to military history at large.
