Prazsky sbornik historicky [The Prague Historical Proceedings] was founded in 1964 as a successor of previously published homeland study proceedings from 1962-1963; it is published by the Prague City Archives.
The Proceedings is issued with a year periodicity and brings papers focused on the capital's Prague history. The papers are concentrated primarily on history but they are also from related disciplines, like history of art, architecture, urban history, literature and other ranges of the city life. Original contributions are published in the Czech language and are accompanied by a foreign language résumé and abstract. The Proceedings also contains a review section that brings news and reviews about the books on the Prague's history and in a wider range, often on the urban history problems. A selective bibliography of currently published Pragensiae-books and Prague archaeological researches survey is engaged regularly.
