Ethnologia Europaea is an interdisciplinary journal with a focus on European cultures and societies. It carries material of great interest not only to European ethnologists and anthropologists but also to sociologists, social historians and scholars involved in cultural studies. The journal was started in 1967 and has since then acquired a central position in the international and interdisciplinary cooperation between scholars inside and outside Europe. It has been ranked as an A journal on the ERIH initial list (European Reference Index for the Humanities). Ethnologia Europaea is published and distributed by Museum Tusculanum Press, University of Copenhagen (www.mtp.dk) – a scholarly publishing house since 1975.
