To date (2005) 50 volumes of the LBI Year Book and two index volumes (of authors, persons and subjects) covering LBI Year Books I-XX (1956-1975) and XXI-XXXIX (1976-1994) have been published.
The articles cover cultural, economic, political, social and religious history, the impact of antisemitism and the Jewish response to it. Each volume contains an extensive, annotated bibliography of publications on German-speaking Jewry in a given year.
In 2009, the LBI Year Book has expanded its online presence. In addition to a fully searchable archive of issues going back to 1956 and an online bibliography, journal articles are now published online, months before the print edition.
