Yad Vashem Studies

Yad Vashem Studies is a peer review journal committed to a multi-faceted and thorough examination of all aspects of the Holocaust. Since its inception in 1957, Yad Vashem Studies has featured path-breaking and thought-provoking articles about the Holocaust, by the leading researchers and thinkers on the subject in the world. Yad Vashem Studies is a forum for scholarly discussion and exchange of ideas in a wide range of disciplines, among them: history, philosophy, literature, the social sciences, and more. Past editors were BenZion Dinur, Shaul Esh, Nathan Eck, Aryeh Leon Kubovy, Livia Rothkirchen, and Aharon Weiss; the current editor is David Silberklang.

Yad Vashem Studies appears annually in both English and Hebrew editions in a hard cover format. Articles may be submitted in either of these languages, or in nearly any European language. In order to be accepted for publication, an article must be recommended both by the editorial board and by independent peer reviewers. Members of the editorial board include: Yitzhak Arad, David Bankier, Omer Bartov Yehuda Bauer, Nathan Cohen, Yisrael Gutman, Otto Dov Kulka, Dan Michman, Avner Shalev. Articles should be submitted in duplicate and should follow the standards of the Chicago Manual of Style (14th ed.).
