Anthropological abstracts : cultural, social anthropology from German-speaking countries

This reference journal, published annually, announces most publications in cultural/social anthropology from the German language area (Austria, Germany, Switzerland). Since most publications have been written in German, and most of them are not included in major Abstracting Services, Anthropological Abstracts offers a convenient source of information for anthropologists who do not read German to become aware of these publications. It includes journal articles, monographs, anthologies, etc. Occasionally, publications in English, or French, are included as well if publishers are less well-known and when it is likely that the publication will not be noted abroad. Most abstracts are authored by the editor, others are specified accordingly.
