Timothy Howe Senior Editor, The Ancient History Bulletin Department of History St. Olaf College Northfield, MN 55057 USA

The Ancient History Bulletin was born in Calgary in 1987, as a result of the efforts of Brian M. Lavelle, John Vanderspoel and Waldemar Heckel, and with the trust and support of our generous original subscribers, most of whom are still contributing to the journal’s success.
The Ancient History Bulletin publishes scholarly articles, short notes, and review articles in Ancient History (Greco-Roman and neighbours, ca 1,000 BCE to ca 500 CE) as well as in the related fields of Epigraphy, Papyrology and Numismatics. The Journal seeks articles and short notes in the following languages of publication: English, French, German, Italian, Spanish. The aim is to provide quick publication, including electronic preview.

After the publication of Volume 26, AHB moved to St. Olaf College and shifted to Open Access Status. Volume 27 (2013) is the first to have been produced under the new editorial regime.
