The Editorial Board of the Revista Universitaria de Historia Militar (RUHM) is pleased to announce the call for papers for its next issue, corresponding to the months from January to June of 2018.

The RUHM is a journal focused on strengthening social, cultural and socio-cultural approaches in the field of war studies. It is the first peer-reviewed Spanish war studies journal and one of the best indexed in the field of History. In this sense, RUHM is fully committed with quality, as shows his inclusion in several academic indexes like ESCI-Thomson Reuters or ERIHPlus. The journal is open to receive original articles related to war studies from ancient times until nowadays, with special preference for innovative works regarding interpretation, sources and methodology. Articles must have from 7,500 to 9,000 words, and could be written in English, Spanish, Italian and Portuguese.
