We hereby have the pleasure to invite you to the 4th international conference
“Origines et mutationes” . This edition focuses on the topic of law in the countries of the Baltic Sea Region from the Middle Ages up to the Industrial Age.
The conference has an interdisciplinary character and is aimed at historians, legal historians, historians of arts, sociologists, philosophers, anthropologists and archeologists.

Individual & group panels, which shall consist of 3 related topic will be accepted after preliminary evaluation. Conference presentations & proceedings should pertain to:

1. influence of law on society; society and law; law as a tool of social discipline; law and judicature from social perspective;
2. development of law; legal culture; lawyers and their works; sources of law,
3. normative model and legal practice,
4. evolution of judicature,
5. law and injustice,
6. legal archeology,
7. law and art; law in art,
8. law and religion
