Zum Abschluss der Ausstellung »Raub und Restitution. Kulturgut aus jüdischem Besitz von 1933 bis heute« veranstaltet das Jüdische Museum Berlin eine internationale Konferenz, die sich mit den von Land zu Land unterschiedlichen juristischen und politischen Rahmenbedingungen bei der Restitution von Kulturgütern beschäftigt. Im Mittelpunkt der Konferenz steht der Umgang mit geraubtem jüdischen Kulturgut in den unmittelbaren Nachkriegsjahren. Die Konferenzsprache ist Englisch.

To conclude the exhibition "Looting and Restitution. Jewish Owned Cultural Artifacts from 1933 to the Present," the Jewish Museum Berlin is organizing an international conference on the variations from country to country in the legal and political requirements for the restitution of cultural artifacts. The conferences focuses on the handling of looted Jewish cultural artifacts in the early postwar years. The conference will be held in English.
