Call For Papers on "Textual Responses to German Unification".

Contributions sought for an anthology that will examine responses to German unification from a variety of perspectives. In addition to articles on "Wende and Post-Wende" Literature, we seek contributions on film, the re-visioning of the GDR and the Cold War period, issues of work and property, women's perspectives and social issues, the Stasi controversy, etc.

Interested parties should send a 2 page abstract to all three editors by February 1, 1999.

After consideration, completed papers will be due September 1, 1999.

Submissions in German will be considered, but the language of publication will be English. The editors may be able to assist with translations.
