Memory of the Holocaust in the GDR

I am thinking of planning a major research project designed to examine memory in the German Democratic Republic of the Nazi persecution and murder of Jews. A bid for financial support is planned. This project will examine all political, social and cultural areas of reception. If anyone is interested in participating in this project, could they please let me know? Also, if there are potential PhD students interested in doing a doctoral thesis on a related topic, I would be grateful if they could let me know. At present, I am still very much in the course of formulating an outline of the project’s parameters, goals and planned outcomes, so that I would welcome the chance to discuss and define these with interested colleagues.
