The monumental publication series “Kyivan Christianity“ reinterprets the religious and cultural history of Central Eastern Europe from the perspective of Kyiv. This hitherto ignored historiographical perspective no longer regards Kyiv as a periphery, but as a center from which culture spread to the north, south, west, and east.
