For professional reasons, we will be subletting our maisonette-flat in Berlin north-Neukölln from August 2012 to June/July 2013 (dates are slightly flexible). The apartment is fully furnished and perfect for scholars and family:

The flat is bright and quiet. 3 rooms (living room, bedroom, and office/ could alternatively be used as a 2nd bedroom), 2 washrooms (upstairs and downstairs), bathtub, shower, a very large complete kitchen including dishwasher. Laminate floors (look like wood), washing machine, central heating. The terrace equipped with-electric grill, outdoor furniture etc. faces the large courtyard. Internet (WLAN/ Wi-Fi) and Landline (flatrate 'international' - includes many European countries, + others such as USA, Canada, Australian, Russia, Turkey and plus others) available.
The flat is very close to all daily needs: groceries, shopping, park, cinemas, theatre, public swimming pool, 5-10 mins from bars/cafés around the canal, several restaurants close by. Very good public transport connection to the airports, 2-3 minutes from the U-7 Metro, less than 10 mins to the U-8 and S-Bahn (Ring, S-41,42,45), Bus stops on every corner, and just 5-7 mins to the M-41 (to the main intercity train station/ zum Hauptbahnhof).
Rent 995 Euro/month + approx. 195 Euro internet/telephone (landline flatrate to several countries) /electricity/heating.
