The Stanley Burton Centre PhD full-time Studentship for Home/EU Student only
The Stanley Burton Centre for Holocaust Studies invites applications from suitably qualified candidates to undertake full-time Ph.D. research in any area of our expertise. However, we would particularly welcome Ph.D. proposals that are linked to our own oral history projects (see 'research & conferences' on our website). The Ph.D. studentship will cover 100% of tuition fees and maintenance of at least £2,000 p.a. for four years to start on 1 October 2007 (there is additional finance available to cover approved research expenses). The studentship is conditional upon submitting an AHRC application through the School by 1 May 2007. The studentship will be available to the best applicant in the judgement of permanent academic staff working in the SBC who has not been awarded a full AHRC grant. Deadline for submission of an initial PhD studentship application is 23 March 2007 (the application can be found at our website).
