The Institute for the History and Theory of Architecture (Institut gta) is inviting applications for a lectureship position in the history of architecture, urbanism or landscape. The appointment is for two years, extendable for one year.

Job description:

The lectureship gives female postdoctoral scholars the opportunity to engage independently in teaching while autonomously advancing specific research themes. It is oriented toward postdoctoral scholars in the fields of the history of architecture, urbanism or landscape. While being free in their research and teaching activities, the candidates are expected to participate to the academic and intellectual life of the gta Institute and engage with its exhibition, archive, publishing house and digital art history divisions.

The lecturer will contribute substantially and visibly to the educational curriculum of the gta (for instance, by offering one lecture course and one seminar per year) and participate actively in the doctoral program of the institute.

Your profile:

Scholars who will receive or have received their PhD in the field of architectural history and theory before July 2020 are eligible. We explicitly encourage female scholars to apply.
