The Jan Patocka Fellowship Program aims to foster research inspired by Jan Patocka's thought and committed to his legacy. The fellowships will enable Czech senior and junior researchers to pursue a research project of their choice while working in residence at the IWM in Vienna. They are open to all academic disciplines in the humanities and social sciences. Research proposals related to one of the IWM's main fields are strongly encouraged (pls. see <http://www.iwm.at/research>)

The fellows will spend 6 months during the academic year 2014/2015 at the IWM in Vienna. Junior Fellows will receive a stipend EUR 1,800 per month to cover all expenses related to their stay in Vienna. In addition, the IWM provides fellows with a personal office including access to internet, research and administration facilities as well as other services free of charge.
Senior Visiting Fellowships are granted by invitation only.
