I am looking for someone who would be able to go into the German archives for me in 2015 and 2016, to do so paid work on a specific topic. I am applying to the Australian government for funding to undertake my next project, which I have tentatively called, “Everyday War: Civilians in an Age of Revolution, 1792-1815 “.
I am consequently, looking for a qualified research collaborator who could work in a team with other researchers (in Italy, Holland and Spain) to help uncover material that would throw light on the interactions between the French occupiers and the civilian populations. I would also be interested in someone having a look at the memoir literature for the period. The end product would be a book that I hope to write, but I would also like to co-author a number of articles.
