Neonazis and Right-wing Extremists: Analysis and Resistance

This panel invites papers that critically document and analyze neonazis and right-wing extremists in contemporary Germany, preferably from a feminist perspective. Topics may include, but are not limited to: German neonazi activity in international contexts; women's roles and gendered analysis; resistance in Germany and abroad; neonazis and the new information technology; and neonazi "cultural" production (music etc.) Papers may also reflect on the teaching of contemporary neonazi and right-wing activities in the multicultural classroom and the implications of organizing study abroad programs in Germany.
Please send hard copies and electronic versions of a one-page abstract (250 words) for a 20 minute presentation to both organizers by March 4, 2001:
