18th International Conference on the History of Cartography
Athens, 11-16 July 1999

Deadline for 250-word abstracts (which can be emailed): OCTOBER 1st

The main theme of this conference is the Cartography of the Mediterranean World but abstracts can be submitted on *any* aspect of the history of cartography.

Contributions are particularly invited from anyone currently working with early maps, who would not consider themself to be a 'historian of cartography'.
